A 3 mile loop that could offer hundreds of Kennett households a comfortable route to exercise or access Spar Hill
As described elsewhere, a Yield Roadway can transform local roads with low speeds, low volumes, and no centerline into a route that pedestrians and cyclists can safely and comfortably share with cars. We describe a proposal for such route in the southeastern corner of Kennett that connects hundreds of households to Spar Hill Farm, with the potential for future trail links connecting hundreds more. After initial discussions with select area residents over the past 2 months, we presented a preliminary draft of this option to Kennett Township supervisors on February 1st.
